Anvil - Effect Rack

ANVIL is based on a beloved hardware unit in our studio that's pretty famous in the production and live-performer world - The OTO BOUM.

It doesn't try to replicate the BOUM 1:1 though as we've expanded on the concept.

First things first: ANVIL gives you three flavours of saturation and distortion, all useable at the same time. Each flavour has it's own curated parameter(s) to deliver quick and meaningful results.

Once you're happy with your sounds' weight, grit and fizzle, the signal then goes into a one-knob compressor for extra punch and glue.

From there we route everything into a Low Pass Filter to further sculpt the sound.

There's also a handy one-knob 'De-mud' EQ and a mono maker on board.

ANVIL is a versatile 'betterizer' on tons of different material, like drums, percussion, synths and more (we sometimes even put it on the master buss to carve out that extra bit of punch and lift the whole spectrum ;))

Enjoy some serious density and pressure!

happy music making!

*Important - This rack uses the 'Pedal' device, which only is included with Ableton Live SUITE 12.3.2 and up. The 'Pedal' device can be purchased from the Ableton store separately though*
